At Gina.T Hair & Beauty we pride ourselves on offering “the best salon experience you’ll ever have”. The following policies have been put in place to protect our salon, staff and clients alike and to ensure everything runs smoothly so you enjoy your total Gina.T Hair & Beauty experience.
Pricing & Payment Methods Policy
Salon pricing may vary from one salon to the next. For accurate pricing please request a complimentary in salon consultation. At Gina.T Hair & Beauty our reflects the professional products facilities we offer and experience and training of our staff. Payment for all services can be made by cash, EFTPOS, Visa and MasterCard. We do not accept AMEX or cheques.
If you book a service with us, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. You may be required to provide contact information such as name, email, and phone number. We use this information to secure your booking, send appointment reminders or contact you in regards to any issues regarding an upcoming appointment. We may also on occasion use this contact information for in salon marketing purposes but you can opt out or unsubscribe if you don’t wish to receive any.
Deposits must be paid to book the following services: hair extensions, keratin smoothing, chemical straightening or any other lengthy service. If you are a new client we reserve the right to ask that a deposit of up to $50 for a haircut or up to $100 deposit for anyone booked in for a speciality service, colour or a booking allocated more than 3 hours.
We reserve your appointments especially for you, therefore, we request that you be courteous and respectful and call us promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. To best utilise appointment times for all clients we need at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Less than 24 hours’ notice could result in a charge of 50% of the service cost. This also applies to drastic appointment changes on the service you are booked in for – so, if you are booked in for a long service and you change your mind and don’t want it done any more, you must let us know 24 hours prior to your appointment time. “No Shows” at our discretion may be charged 100% of the service cost and or refused future bookings.
Appointment Reminder Service Policy
We offer an SMS reminder service which is sent to you 3 days prior to your appointment. On receipt of this text, we ask that you confirm ‘Y’ for Yes or cancel with ‘N’ for No or ‘R’ for Reschedule and we will then contact you for a new appointment. Gina.T Hair & Beauty reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments up to 24 hours before scheduled appointment time. ‘No shows’ may be required to pay deposits for all future appointments or be refused future appointments at our discretion.
Appointment Times Policy
You must arrive on time to ensure you receive the full service you have booked in for. If you are running late, please let us know – we will do everything we can to accommodate you, however, please keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment, or may not have time to complete the whole service, in which case you will need to make another booking.
Service Redo & Refund Policy
At Gina.T Hair & Beauty we will always perform a thorough consultation prior to your service. A quote can be asked for before works begin. If for whatever reason you are not happy with services performed at Gina.T Hair & Beauty we require clients to contact the salon within 7 days to resolve any issues. Services performed at Gina.T Hair & Beauty will not carry any guarantee if the client is not using professional products as recommended.
Gina.T Hair & Beauty will not refund or compensate clients for change of mind or unrealistic expectations not being met. Gina.T Hair & Beauty will not refund or compensate for services performed elsewhere to rectify or change outcome of services performed at Gina.T Hair & Beauty. Gina.T Hair & Beauty reserves the right to correct any issues in house before a refund is offered given there is basis to do so at our discretion.
No refund will be offered or liability acknowledged for unsatisfactory or damaged hair without A Gina.T Senior Stylist physically being able to inspect the unhappy clients hair. Photos alone are not a satisfactory or sufficient form of identifing fault or an issue with a hair service.
Product Exchange Policy
After purchasing a product from Gina.T Hair & Beauty, if after 2 washes you are not satisfied with the products, you may exchange them for another product of the similar value or at our discretion dependant on circumstances offer a refund or credit. This does not apply to electricals such as GHD styling irons. GHD warranty is provided by GHD and they can’t be exchanged in the salon due to concerns with forfeiting.
We always do a complete consultation and take every step necessary to ensure your safety and the best possible results. While we are confident in our knowledge and experience, sometimes the unexpected can happen.
It is your responsibility to inform us if you have:
- Been exposed to or swam in chlorine
- Used any type of natural hair colour, especially henna or chemist/supermarket hair colour.
- Started new medication or diet
- Any thing else that could possibly effect your colour
Hair colour and hair lighteners, along with other chemicals that we may use on your hair can react with any other type of chemical or metal agent that may be present in your hair. Whilst we adhere to strict guidelines in regard to colour, lighteners, and chemicals, we cannot foresee every possible outcome. It is impossible for us to ask questions regarding every possible circumstance that could result in an unwanted outcome. If you are not forthcoming about what may be on your hair it is possible you could experience anything from hair breakage, chemical burns and undesired colour results. If in doubt, mention it!
All stylists strive to ensure our clients happiness and satisfaction. They have been added to the team based on their experience and higher education and knowledge. We will do our very best to ensure you leave with beautiful, healthy hair each and every time you leave our salon!
All gift certificates/Vouchers that have an expiry date on them must be used in that time or within a a maximum 12 months from date of purchase if no expiry date is stated. A 7 day cooling off period exists for purchased Gift Certificates and a full refund can be offered with in this time. Gift Certificates & Vouchers can not be exchanged for cash and no change is given if not fully used.
Gina.T will from time to time run competitions and promotions. Gina.T will always endeavour to run these fairly and transparently. Some individual promotions will have specific Terms & Conditions but all have the following T&Cs:
- Salon Managers decision is final.
- Salon Managers discretion applies in relation to any grey areas or technicalities.
- All competitions and promotions run for 1 month maximum unless otherwise stated.
- Prizes/rewards/discounts are as stated and not to be exchanged for cash or substituted for there products or services unless agreed to by the manager.
- All Winners are randomly selected unless otherwise stated.
- Fair Play rules apply where clients may unreasonably take advantage of a promotion or competition or offer in a way it was not intended.
- If no terms and conditions are stated than the above terms apply automatically.
Responsibility for Children & Personal Items
For the safety and comfort of all clients, we ask that children are accompanied by adults at all times, and carefully monitored. Gina.T Hair & Beauty or our staff accept no responsible for children in the salon or salon kids room. When in the kids room children are still the responsibility of their parent/guardian. Even though we take as much care as possible, please note that personal items are the responsibility of the client.
Gina.T Hair & Beauty diligently monitors the privacy and confidentiality of personal information and ensures compliance to all relevant legislative and moral requirements by instilling discipline in all aspects of our business. Our objective is to protect and maintain the privacy, and security of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act. We are committed to the privacy and protection of your information.

Wedding/Bridal Parties are required to pay a 50% deposit at booking confirmation and the remainder 1 week prior to the appointment. Payment plans can be organised for Parties over $600. Hair trials are not compulsory, but are strongly recommended.
Pricing is not guaranteed until a booking has been confirmed and a deposit paid. It is the responsibility of the client to be on time. We can not guarantee the completion time if the client is running late. Bookings are subject to availability, please contact us for enquiries.
